Sentiment remained mixed across world markets as concerns about China’s Covid caseloads and anxieties of an economic recession dampened the momentum in the earlier session.

Asian stocks finished mostly higher. European benchmarks are trading mixed. Wall Street Futures indicate a weak opening.

The Dollar Index declined amidst rising bets of a Fed pivot. Bond yields declined in the U.S. but gained in Europe. Crude oil prices gained amidst government data that showed a higher-than-expected depletion in crude oil inventories in the U.S. Gold remained flat. Cryptocurrencies stayed close to the previous day’s levels.
