The Federal Housing Finance Agency or FHFA House Price Index for January, the Conference Board’s Consumer Confidence for March as well as the Commerce and the Housing and Urban Development department’s New Home Sales for February might be the highlights on Tuesday.

Early signs from the U.S. Futures Index suggest that Wall Street might open moderately up.

As of 8.10 am ET, the Dow futures were up 64.00 points, the S&P 500 futures were adding 12.25 points and the Nasdaq 100 futures were progressing 34.75 points.

The U.S. major averages closed on a high note on Monday. The Dow settled higher by 597.97 points or 1.42 percent, at 42,583.32. The S&P 500 closed up 100.01 points or 1.76 percent, at 5,767.57, while the Nasdaq ended stronger by 404.54 points or 2.27 percent, at 18,188.59.

On the economic front, the Case-Shiller Home Price Index for January will be released at 9.00 am ET. In the prior month, the 20-City adjusted monthly index was up 0.5 percent.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency or FHFA House Price Index for January will be issued at 9.00 am ET. In December, the Price Index gained 0.4 percent.

The Conference Board’s Consumer Confidence for March will be revealed at 10.00 am ET. The consensus is for 94.2, while it was up 98.3 in the prior month.

The Commerce and the Housing and Urban Development department’s New Home Sales for February will be published at 10.00 am ET. The consensus is for an increase of 679K, while it was up 657K in the previous month.

The Richmond Fed Manufacturing Index for March will be revealed at 10.00 am ET. THe consensus is 5.0, while it was 6.0 in February.

The Fed Money Supply for February will be issued at 1.00 pm ET. In the prior week, the M2 Level was $21,561.4 billion.

Fed Governor Adriana Kugler will speaks on”Economic Landscape and Entrepreneurship” before the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 2025 Legislative Summit at 8.40 am ET.

New York Fed President John Williams will give opening remarks before the 2025 New York Fed Regional and Community Banking Conference at 9.05 am ET.

Asian stocks ended mixed on Tuesday. China’s Shanghai Composite index finished marginally lower at 3,369.98.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index tumbled 2.35 percent to 23,344.25.

Japanese markets eked out modest gains. The Nikkei average rose 0.46 percent to 37,780.54. The broader Topix index settled 0.24 percent higher at 2,797.52.
